Dr. Mia’s Personal Story

I’m from Seattle and arrived in the east end via L.A. with my dog and the contents of my car. I’d accepted a position at Southampton Hospital before I even knew where the Hamptons were located.

There’s simplicity in starting over all by one’s self. I learned that home and family is, in part, something we create when we allow ourselves explore and trust. To my surprise I found a home for myself among the sand dunes and ocean vistas. I found my people and I found my calling, Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine, which is a fancy way of saying that I have the profound pleasure of taking my patients’ pain away and giving them another chance to live what they love again.
